Terms of Service

Last updated 21 August 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Velour. By creating an account or using the app you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use Velour.

Who can use Velour

You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, so keep your password to yourself and tell us promptly if you think someone else has it.

What Velour does

Velour lets you photograph your wardrobe, generate virtual try-on images, plan outfits on a calendar, and share looks with other users if you choose to. Try-on images are produced by AI models and are an approximation — they are not a photograph of how a garment will actually fit, drape, or look on you. Treat them as a styling aid, not a guarantee.

Your content stays yours

You keep all rights to the photos and content you upload. You are not signing them over to us.

You grant Velour only the narrow permission needed to run the service: to store your content, to send it to our AI providers to generate the results you request, and — if and only if you share a look publicly — to display it to other users in the app. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.

You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.

What you may not do

We may remove content or suspend accounts that breach these rules.

AI-generated results

Generation depends on third-party AI services and is not guaranteed to succeed, to be accurate, or to be available at any given moment. Results vary. A failed or poor-quality generation is not a defect in the service, though we would very much like to hear about it.

Velour Plus and payments

Some features may require a paid subscription. Where a subscription is bought through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, that store handles billing, renewals, and refunds under its own terms, and you manage or cancel the subscription in your store account. Prices may change with notice; a change never applies to a period you have already paid for.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using Velour and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or if we stop offering the service — in which case we will give reasonable notice where we can.

Service provided as-is

Velour is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated images will meet your expectations.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Velour is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Velour after that means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Lagos State have jurisdiction — without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
